Walk-in Clinic

• Open 5 afternoons a week
• Health screening,assessment,treatment,education and referral
• Staffed by RN’s, Nurse Practitioners, volunteer MD’s and other volunteers.
• By policy, we do not prescribe any controlled substances or assist clients to obtain them
• Information and resources for immediate, transitional, care, and to assist clients to access regular healthcare
• Transportation assistance and prescription assistance for those who need these.

Self-Care Station

• Over-the-counter medication, health education materials, and toiletries for the residents of the shelter.
• Provides the means to assist many of the walk-in clients’ immediate needs

• Child Health & Development
• STD/HIV prevention
• Parenting Classes
• Hygiene programs
• Therapeutic play for children
• Self-Breast examination
• HTN management
• DM management
